  • dry seasoned bread crumbs 5 tbsp
  • onion chopped 7-1/8 tsp
  • green bell pepper chopped 3-1/2 tsp
  • oregano 1/8 tsp
  • black pepper 1/8 tsp
  • canned pinto beans low sodium 1/4 cup
  • canned diced tomatoes salt added 1/4 cup
  • whole-grain 2 oz bread buns 4


INSTRUCTIONS


  • Combine all ingredients into a large mixing bowl and stir until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  • Using a 1/2 cup scoop, portion burgers onto 18 x 13 inch pan, lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350° F for 20 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F
  • To serve, place one patty on warm bun.
