  • Milk, White, 1%, Low Fat, Gallon, Hiland Dairy, 13200 ‎ 1 tbsp., 2 7/8 tsp. ‎
  • Onions, raw chopped 2 tbsp., 2 2/3 tsp. ‎
  • Peppers, sweet, green, raw chopped 2 tbsp., 2 2/3 tsp. ‎
  • Tomatoes, red, ripe, raw, year round average chopped or sliced 1 tbsp., 2 7/8 tsp. ‎
  • Spices, paprika ‎ 3/8 tsp.
  • Spices, garlic powder ‎ 5/ 8 tsp.
  • Spices, pepper, black ground 1/8 tsp.
  • Spices, onion powder ‎ 1/4 tsp.
  • Spices, pepper, red or cayenne ‎ 1/4 tsp.
  • Spices, oregano, dried ground 3/8 tsp.

  • Pasta, whole grain, 51% whole wheat, remaining enriched semolina, dry (Includes foods for USDA's Food Distribution Program) ‎ 5 7/8 oz.

  • Parmesan cheese topping, fat free ‎ 1 tbsp., 2 7/8 tsp. ‎


INSTRUCTIONS


  • Place chicken, cheese sauce, milk, onion, peppers, tomatoes and spices in a 4 inch foil pan. Stir to combine. Cover with foil and place in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Remove chicken mixture from the oven and stir. Return to the oven and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F
  • Remove chicken mixture from the oven. Stir in pasta. Top with parmesan cheese (if desired) and bake for an additional 5 minutes.  Hold hot for service.
