INSTRUCTIONS
- Heat oil and brown raw beef and drain. Add onions and garlic and cook a few minutes more.Â
- Add tomato paste to beef mixture and allow to slightly brown, then add diced tomatoes. Simmer for 15 minutes.Â
- Add water and remaining seasonings. Simmer for an additional 20 minutes until slightly thickened and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.Â
- To serve, place 1/4 cup of beef mixture on tortilla chips and drizzle with 1/2oz of warm cheese sauce on top.
