Farm to School in Action

Celebrate Farm to School Month with ideas from Oklahoma leaders who are making it happen. Sherry Pearson, Child Nutrition Director for Sand Springs Public Schools, will share how her district organizes an annual Farm to School Day and the impact it has on students. Dr. Shelley Mitchell, OSU Senior Extension Specialist, will provide practical tips for starting a school garden, with guidance especially geared toward beginners.
