  • canned chickpeas unsalted 1-1/4 cups
  • tomatoes 2-2/3 cups
  • red onions 3 tbsp
  • jalapeno pepper 1 tsp
  • basil 3 tbsp
  • vegetable oil 1/4 tsp
  • garlic minced 2-1/2 tsp
  • lime juice 2-1/2 tsp


INSTRUCTIONS


  • Rinse chickpeas then place in a large bowl
  • Medium dice tomatoes, dice onions, small dice jalapenos, chiffonade basil, and add all into a large bowl along with oil, garlic, and lime juice.
  • Mix until combined. Place mixture in refrigerator and let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.
