Carrot Apple Raisin Salad

- Apples, raw, with skin (Includes foods for USDA's Food Distribution Program ) ㅤ 3 7/8 oz.
- Carrots, raw shredded 6 3/4 oz.
- California Seedless Raisins ㅤ 3 1/4 oz.
- Apple juice, canned or bottled, unsweetened, without added ascorbic acid ㅤ 1 tbsp.
- Lemon juice, raw ㅤ 3/4 tsp.
- Salt, table ㅤ <1/8 tsp.
- Honey ㅤ 3/8 tsp
- Spices, cinnamon, ground ㅤ < 1/8 tsp.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Wash Produce.
- Dice apples and place in water with 1 tsp lemon juice to keep apples from browning.
- Peel and grate carrots.
- Drain apples and combine all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Stir in honey and cinnamon. Hold in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Serve cold in salad bowls
